"Mon travail se juge au mur. C'est là que je vois les œuvres fractionnées, éclatées. Il y a la partie picturale, la partie photographique et la partie textuelle. Face à cette trilogie, j'ai pensé un jour que la peinture avait de beaux habits. Mais c'est la photographie qui est toujours regardée en premier. Le terrain est connu. Tout le monde se sent en mesure de la comprendre. Puis vient le texte. Il joue à contre-emplois, car ne répondra pas aux espérances du regardeur. Il semble introduire l'œuvre alors qu'il vient à la fin du processus de création. Il lui donne une couleur mentale. Je ne choisis pas le texte, il s'impose à moi".
